Alan picked a pattern from Martha Stewart's website. If ever there was a pumpkin for THAT particular pattern, Alan's pumpkin fit the bill!
While Teresa and Alan got all the seeds and yuck out of Alan's pumpkin, Daddy started carving Teresa's pumpkin. She picked The Fish Food Chain that we saw in Family Fun Magazine. Her pumpkin was going to be the big fish. My pumpkin was going to be the medium fish. And we had a small pumpkin that would be the last fish. However, my pumpkin turned out to be rotten. Too bad... So we used Daddy's pumpkin.

Lots of people stopped to look at our pumpkins. One trick or treater actually looked at Teresa's pumpkins and said, "Hey! I saw that in Family Fun Magazine!" One Daddy sat down next to the pumpkins to get a better look at them. Lots of people did not believe that Alan's pumpkin was actually real. One girl asked "Is it a wooden pumpkin?" Nope, totally real!Before Teresa, Alan and Daddy went trick or treating, we went down the street and had dinner with a bunch of neighbors. Here is a pictures of the kids from the 'hood...

Look at all those kids...looks like they had a fun time. So glad you all are making friends...although, I am not surprised. :) You have such a great family.
Love the pumpkins! I don't know where you find the time. We were rushing all day. Sarah quickly carved our pumpkin- she did a great job though!
