4 c cold milk
4 (1 oz) packages of butterscotch pudding mix, instant
15 oz can of pumpkin
1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 (12 oz) Cool Whip
Prepare cake as directed. Cool completely, then crumble.
In a bowl, whisk milk and pudding for 2 minutes or until soft set. Fold in pumpkin and spices; mix well.
In a trifle bowl, layer 1/4 cake, half of pumpkin, 1/4 cake, half cool whip, 1/4 cake, half of pumpkin. Top with the rest of the cool whip and garnish with the rest of the cake.

The Trifle was delicious! Thanks you so much for all the goodies you brought. The girls loved the sparkling cider. It was a great holiday. We will have to do it again next year with Jim!
