On Saturday, we went downtown Kansas City to the Irish Fest!
The first thing we did was attend a Mr. Stinky Feet concert at one of four stages. Here is Alan getting an instrument from Mrs. Stinky Feet (and you can also see Happy Feet...their youngest daughter). Alan and Teresa were picked to go on stage as part of the "band." Probably because they were just about the first kids to get up and start dancing...and include all the other kids in the dancing. Teresa had about 10 kids holding hands and dancing in a circle!

After the concert and lunch, we found the children's areas. It consisted mostly of bouncy houses. Here are Teresa and Alan launching themselves off this "slide!"
There was also an activity area set up by Wonderscope Children's Museum. Teresa and Alan played in that area for about an hour while Jim and I sat on the other side of a picket fence, where we were perfectly positioned to also listen to the Irish group playing on the nearby stage!
All in all...a great day!

Sounds like the fest was a lot of fun......am proud to see Alan and Teresa getting into the middle of things. Picked them out of the crowd. Love, Oma and Opa

Any place with an Irish festival and a green fountain has to be a fun place to live =)
