Here is Teresa's latest story. First one back from winter break. The story they are reading this week is a classic: "The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash." Here is what happened next...according to Teresa...
To remind you, Teresa has to write a story once a week that contains at least 10 of her 15 spelling words. The bold words are those words...
"The Day Jimmy's Boa Came Back After Jimmy Left His Boa"
After Jimmy left his boa, he was very sad, but he had a new pet. The boas was happy he had new friends. But the cows were mean to him. He was very sad.
So, on morning when the skies were clear, he started off to go home. But he didn't know what was ahead. He turned a corner and he found what looked like a house but it was not a house! It was a car! The car was heading right for him! What was he to do? Well, he jumped on the sidewalk where he was safe. Well, at least for now.
1 hour later, he stopped. He didn't know how much he could go without stopping much longer. 1 minute later, he found himself surrounded by houses! He was so happy to be near his house! But which one was it? If only...
Suddenly, Jimmy came running out and picked him up! Was he happy!
Now that he is home, he is safe and sound. Well, until the next time he goes to the farm...
