Boohoo...
We left Cairns right on time this morning and got to Sydney around 10:30am. We were able to check our bags all the way through to Honolulu. That meant that we could leave the airport with no worries for our 8 hour lay over. We caught the cityrail to the Circular Quay (pronounced "key") and walked around the "Rocks" for a while, eating lunch in our "favorite" place (we ate there twice before during our first week. Then, we went to the Art Museum. After that, Gellato then back to the airport. We have a couple hours to go. We found a GREAT place to wait...a cafe area with lots of tables...and a play-place for the kids...and internet for us!
C U on the Flip Side! (Still on Friday...we are leaving at 6pm Friday night and getting to Honolulu at 6:30AM FRIDAY!)

Too bad your trip to the land down under is over, but I'm sure you are leaving with wonderful, life-long memories. I especially loved your GBR pictures...the coral looked amazing.

It sounds as though a wonderful time was had by all. Loved the fact that you now have a "favorite" restaurant in the land "down under". Seriously, how many people can claim that?!
I thoroughly enjoyed your reef pix after Elizabeth pointed me in the right direction. It looks like there was something for everyone on that excursion.
You'll be talking about this trip for years to come.
