Tuesday, after Alan's dermatology appointment, we decided to visit the Punch Bowl. The kids actually LOVE to cut the flowers from our yard and take them to Uncle Royce and now Dolphus Duvall (the uncle of a friend of a friend...but hey, he wasn't getting any flowers for YEARS and now he has Ohana, right?)

Uncle Royce is probably saying, "Thanks for flowers after all these years!"
I just LOVE that we can go in the yard and cut flowers to bring. Today's selection was Red Ginger, Bird of Paradise and ferns.
The kids LOVE running up the stairs to the monument.
And, surprising, they LOVE history. We spent a good amount of time looking at the mosaics, talking about the different battles and figuring out which plane and boats were OURS...
