Apparently, the Veteran's Day parade here is the oldest in the country and largest west of the Mississippi. What that translates in to is that EVERY group known to man in this area is allowed to march. Including the Boy and Girl Scouts. As a Girl Scout Leader, I told my girls that if they wanted to march in the parade...go for it! (I'm such a good leader) Alan's Cub Scout den, of course, was DEFINITELY marching. So, we bundled up in our long underware and winter coats and headed out for the parade.
The good news: the rain held off during the parade.
