Summer Fun, before it's too late!

Tuesday, we went with Brandi, her three kids (Aminah, Mekkah & Faheem), and Riley (of message in a bottle fame) to the Children's Discovery Center. This was one of the things we did in my quest to make sure the kids had fun this summer.

The traveling exhibit was called "Once Upon a Time..." Here are all the girls dressed up in the Cinderella area:

Alan did NOT want to be the prince.
Here he is fixing a car in the town center:

Then, they decided to put on a production of Cinderella.
Again, Alan did not want to be the prince.
Instead, he coached Rahiem through the fine art of yelling "CUT"

Upstairs in the "Rainbow World" exhibit,
the kids had fun exploring the different cultures that make up Hawaii.
They must have pretended to catch fish on this boat for 20 minutes!

Luckily, they didn't catch anything we had to eat (haha)
Instead, we sat in a TON of traffic to get back to McDonald's by the NEX.
(Brandi and I sat at a DIFFERENT TABLE THAN THIS CREW!)
