Today was the last day of school.Alan said, "So Mom, what are you going to do with your last 3 free hours?"

It was hard to say "Aloha" to all the wonderful people who have touched our lives at this school. The people at our next school have some BIG shoes to fill!!
Teresa said, "Mommy, this is really hard." (through tears)
Sorry honey, but if you think TODAY was hard...
just wait until we have to say goodbye to the neighbors...

For this move Teresa and Alan are so much more hooked into their wider community because of their ages -- school, scouts, CCD, hula & ukulele, neighbor friends.....

It will be hard for us, too - as we have lived vicariously through you all during your tour! We know it was a tough one with Jim's deployment and being so far away from family - but you sure made the most of it - creating your Hawaii family and participating in so many events and activities! And, thanks again for hosting us!
